Richard Fleming
Owner/Visual Storyteller

Richard Fleming has an extensive list of experience in all phases of media production, as well as a strong presence within his community.  Primarily a director and cinematographer, he helps his clients make their messaging more accessible and dynamic through powerful visual storytelling and a focussed directive.  He is an entrepreneur, an artist, and a prominent member of his community.  Richard is known for his vociferous nature and passionate vision for the evolution of digital media, as well as his support and educational outreach for those in the media profession.  Averaging 120 work hour per week, Richard is devoted to development of his craft – lighting and filming every day, continually researching concepts and ideas directly and indirectly related to his industry.

Currently, Richard resides in Seattle, WA, where he is represented by RUN Studios, a high-end production and animation studio whose clients include Adidas, Bluetooth, and Microsoft.

In addition to his for-profit ventures, he volunteers for several non-profits – including those that work with at-risk youth, and filmmakers looking for media-related jobs.

Richard Fleming is also the Board President for the Boulder County Independent Business Alliance (BIBA), where he manages all media and PR-related content for the nonprofit.  BIBA has helped keep Boulder unique and colourful since 1998 by promoting local and independent businesses.  Currently, Richard is launching efforts for the organisation’s Local & Loving It campaign, which makes the Buy Local movement more accessible and understandable to residents, as well as better unifies independent businesses under a common goal.  For more information on BIBA, visit www.boulderiba.org.

Finally, Richard Fleming is the co-owner Startup Quest, an entrepreneurial learning platform for those interested in learning how to start their own businesses.  Startup Quest helps to empower the business-minded community to actualise their financial and professional goals.
